Yeah, we do need to keep these forums more active...

So, I'll start off a question to keep this thing fun and active. What did you think sucked more? Yugioh GX or Yugioh 5D's?

GX hands down, at least 5-d's had motorcycles, and even as im typing this i realize how stupid that sounds.

I though GX was pretty bad too. It started the whole Elemental Hero thing. I personally dont like that Elemental Hero's are weak alone. Only fused can they be strong (LOL) So yeah, 5D's is better.

I didn't like the idea for GX... a school that teaches you how to play a children's card game, owned by seto kaiba, and parents actually pay for their children to go there... a little unrealistic, but ok.

The only thing I really hated about 5Ds is the repetitiveness of the syncro summons... most duels had the same thing going on...

I think they are just trying to get people back into the game. I quit watching about the end of gx. Then i started back up. I think its ok, but the school ide is great.

But you have to admit that it is pretty unrealistic...

yeah your right i'm just fine if they kept everything normal but they dont want the show to get boring. I think that must be the hardest thing to do

I miss yami and the other characters they should bring back at least a few from the original into a few episodes or something.

If you mean a few episodes, as in the begining of GX and the last episode of GX... as well as the one episode that Seto Kaiba apears in GX (When Manjyome's [or Chazz's] brothers bet on that duel agaist Kaiba). Those are the only cameos I can think of in GX. There definantly wasn't any in 5Ds that I saw...

I only watch the original.... pharaoh vs bakura vs marik vs kaiba vs some seal dude vs some pink hair gay guy .... etc

I assume the seal guy was mako tsnami and the pink hair guy was zigfried shroeder... didn't really like that guy...lol

yeh, i use to watch it in asia so i dont really know the english names

I alternate what languae I watch it in... the original series was mostly english though... it wasn't until GX that I started watchin Japanese.

I mean i wish they would stay around longer than one or two episodes. I miss some of the old combos and cards

Yeah, a lot of people thought that...lol i didn't like it as much as the original, and I think the first season absolutly sucked... but after that, it was alright.

Yeah, the rules are always broken in the first season of every yu-gi-oh! series... like when Yugi used catapult turtle to launch Dragon Champion into Castle of Dark Illusion, destroying it's floatation ring, causing it to callapse on Panic's monsters, redusing his LP to 0... the only thing i could think of is WTF?!?!?

it was creative but not logical. that combo with mammoth graveyard and that golden arrow would be really cool though

LOL, that was funny though. I wish we were allowed to collapse floating castles on KCVDS opponents.

About Yu-Gi-Oh GX: I didn't really like theses episodes, i just liked the characters of Sebastian, and Syrus. The whole idea of a school, i mean come on... Thought if it was real, it could be cool to attend. The only thing i like about it is the bright colors. Too many Yu-Gi-Oh eps use Dark ones.

YGO 5D's: At first i thought it was completly stupid and moronic. Until I actually saw it, this is the only Series of YGO i actually like. Especially the Syncros, but it gets repetive as Aracna said. I actually like this series very much, and got myself a Spellcaster Command Deck, Pshycic Lifetrancer, and Psychic Warrior. BTW, is Psychic a new type?

and PW says: Psychic/Tuner

Yeah the 5 d's thing where they made it like a sporting event was cool with the stadiums and stuff was cool.
